Interesting and varied new menu items highlight a new season in this well-established eatery. The three-course Friday night special I had was truly wonderful, exciting, flavourful food. A mesclum mix was restrained by slices of cucumber, sliced lengthwise and curved to form a holder for the leaves, the whole drizzled with a piquant apple-based vinagrette. The pork tenderloin entree was three large pieces stuffed with a savoury dressing that was so tasty and plentiful that while I finished the pork, I took the rest of the stuffing home. Dessert was a chocolate/caramel custard in a crunchy pastry shell, topped with fresh strawberries and blackberries. Portion size gave good value for the price which was reasonable for the quality. Presentation throughout was as artistic as any classy place in Toronto but the outstanding things about the meal, to my mind, were the number of homemade items (dressing, stuffing, pudding, pastry) and the commitment to flavour everywhere. Today was the first day I had been there in years, and things have changed... For the better :)
I took my children there so they could see the streetcar like I did when I was younger. All of the staff was warm and welcoming, the streetcar was closed when I arrived but they overheard my childrens disappointment and opened the doors just for us. We were served promptly, and our food was ready in no time. Which I know for me is important when you take out your kids cause they can be soo impatient. My burger was cooked just the way I like it and my cheese was actually melted on which doesn't always happen in the fast food business. The onion rings were a little different than what I remember but they had a good combination of a crisp outside and a soft batter inside. My kids had more of my shake then I did but they seemed to love it lol. I will deffinately be goin back this summer on my way tothe cottage, it's so worth waiting for. Oh. Before I forget, parents be warned they don't have kids burgers, only nuggets which I thought were actually a great portion size. Oh and they're a cash only business they have an ATM, the only annoying thing about stopping in was the people in front of me in line didn't see the signs that clearly say cash only and held every one up.
To conclude I LOVE SUPERBURGER.

I've been to Harry's on multiple occasions with different groups of people. Have been pleasantly suprised each time with great food and excellent service. The pizza is homemade and very tasty. Wings are good, but not their specialty. Pasta is excellent is as well. Beer on tap is fresh (usually have Stella) and haven't had any issues. This is a great place to visit for lunch, after work with the guys (they have pool tables upstairs) or on a date with that special girl. A rare treat!

The Best Western Governor's Inn says classy from the moment you pull in the driveway and the lobby and professional staff continues this feeling. From a beautiful lobby to a restaurant/lounge that has the rich, comfortable feel of fine leather (although for the record there was no leather).Our server was attentive, polite and quite pleasant and although it was obvious that she was pushing the buffet there was no problems when I ordered off of the menu. This place gets a perfect 10 when it comes to atmosphere.
I ordered the Governor's Chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and the garden mix. The chicken schnitzel was prepared quite to my liking, cooked to perfection, moist on the inside and the breading was wonderfully crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes were quite good, fluffy and smooth, and clearly not instant (a pet-peeve of mine is instant potatoes). The garden mix consisted of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green and red pepper slices and was steamed to perfection. I rate this meal a 9 out of 10, nearly flawless.
Overall this restaurant gets 9.5 out of 10 and will say that I will defiantly be eating there again.

You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth.
The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too.
I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic.
Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
You pay more at the other “big chain” burger places in town and still feel hungry afterwards.

Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50)
Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music.
You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less!
We drive past half a dozen breakfast joints that we have tried in the past to have breakfast here. (often)
