Keeps a gluten free bread for sandwiches that is the best I have had! Also keeps a selection of g/f pastries that will challenge your diet with really decent deserts. The deserts are a little expensive but worth the splurge for a treat that will make you gld you did. Toppings are included with snadwich selections like pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions (real fine slices) etc.. This woman knows and understands how to make a gluten free sandwich this will delight any celiac or wheat avoider person. Always a smile and good friendly humour along with such a quaint atmosphere generated in this cozy place. Too bad supper isn't available as I would definitely impress guests visiting from the big cities, here. Coffee? All the fancy varieties in a huge mug! My husband and I were recently at the Mill Cafe for lunch with a few friends from out of town. We have been local to the area, but had not been in since the restaurant was renovated. The decor was delightful and vibrant, with unique artwork covering the walls. We were pleasantly greeted by our server who encouraged us to sit wherever we pleased. The menu was fun and fresh and we found it extremely difficult to have to choose from all the delicious items. Our lunch arrived very quickly, and we were more and more pleased with every bite. IT WAS EXTRAORDINARY! We felt very welcomed by both serving and kitchen staff (as this is an open concept restaurant) and we will gladly be back again! ... and again! Read more
