Coming from experience I have to tip my hat to the chef's at Italian by Night. Might I suggest you agree as a group to make your choices with sharing in mind as there is just to much to choose from. Even after 20 years at this location, the owner Italo is there every evening to make certain that everything is right! This is the best Northern Italian cuisine east of Montreal, IMHO. The larger centre of Halifax, NS has a more pompous and pricey place, but Sirenella consistently delivers fresh and delicious meals in an atmosphere which is conducive to romance later in the evening, but is family-friendly earlier on. Italo's wife Lise makes the delicious deserts as well. Zagat ranked Sirenella #1 for service (thanks, Shawn, Hiro, Christian, & Corin) and #2 for food, so you can see why I come back every vacation, and why I think that it is PEI's best overall bet.
